Make a long list of nouns (names of things) by looking around you or using your imagination. If you’re using pen and paper, cut the list with scissors into single words and put the nouns in a bowl. If you’re working on your phone or computer, use the nouns (as follows) in the order you’ve listed them.
Choose a poem by a Poetry In Voice author or one you've studied.
Replace each noun in the poem with one drawn “blind” from the bowl/hat/box.
That can be your poem, or you can revise the words further, but let the nonsense live.
